
Full send, half sent.
Sometimes when I’m on the top of a line or the bottom of a pitch, the full send attitude isn’t an option. It’s not that I don’t want to send it, I just know my limits and value my ligaments’ structural integrity. But I like to challenge myself so instead of charging it over the cliff, I’ll find the more manageable place to drop in. Next time, thinking of biting off a little more. I don’t expect to impress fool anyone on the chair lift to thinking I’m a sponsored skier; I just want to be good enough to justify buying the next pair of skis.
I feel the same way about a lot of hobbies and personal projects. I want to make a golf scorecard calculator, or a 3d printed map, or a website. But my eyes are always bigger than my stomach, and when I can’t make the perfect App from machine language I think it’s not worth me doing.
So rather than let the best be the enemy of the good, I’m making a place I can share my half-baked projects, half-done programs, and half-finis
